Kasey Schaffer Events built Elizabeth and Stone's April day at The Ledges Club around classic monograms and hand-painted watercolor artwork, working in a palette of soft and vibrant pinks, sunshine yellow, and fresh greens that turned the venue into a garden party at an elegant Alabama home. Abundant installations by Buckets & Blooms set the scene for details you could only call theirs: invitation liners illustrated with peonies grown by the bride's father and magnolias from her childhood home, Herend penguin cake toppers for Stone's favorite animal, a needlepointed bar sign for "Old Fashioned Love" and "Happily Ever Aperol," and the Favrot Heirloom Veil, worn by 48 brides before her. Elizabeth and Stone's wedding design embraced timeless Southern elegance with a fresh, romantic perspective. Inspired by classic monograms, cherished heirloom details, and hand-painted watercolor artwork, every element was thoughtfully layered with personal touches that felt intimate and bespoke rather than trend-driven. A palette of soft and vibrant pinks, sunshine yellow, and fresh greens brought the vision to life, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a sophisticated garden party at an elegant Alabama home. Feminine, joyful, and deeply sentimental, the celebration beautifully balanced tradition with playful color and meaningful custom details.
Proposal Story
Although they both grew up in Alabama, it took moving to Dallas and attending Southern Methodist University for their paths to cross. Three years after meeting on campus, they returned to the place where their story began, and Stone surprised Elizabeth with a proposal on July 25, 2025. With their beloved dog, Dixie Mae, by their side, the proposal was a heartfelt tribute to the university that brought them together and the life they had built together. Rooted in faith, gratitude, and the unwavering support of family and friends, the couple joyfully began planning the next chapter of their love story, culminating in their April wedding celebration.

Wedding Gown
Elizabeth's custom wedding gown was one of the most meaningful aspects of her wedding journey. Designed alongside the team at Nardos in Dallas, the process began months before the celebration and quickly became one of the bride's favorite experiences. From the first muslin fitting to each intricate fitting that followed, she loved watching her dream gown come to life with the help of the thoughtful, creative, and talented Nardos team. Having always envisioned herself in a ballgown, Elizabeth chose a timeless silhouette featuring a drop-waist bodice and a pleated silk faille skirt with graceful structure and romantic elegance. The gown was paired with a delicate floral lace topper that draped softly off the shoulders—a detail that perfectly reflected her love of classic, feminine design. Airy floral lace cascaded throughout the skirt, adding movement and softness while creating the romantic look she had always imagined. A signature detail couldn't be left out: bows. Ever since childhood, bows had been a defining part of Elizabeth's personal style—even celebrating "double bow days" for special occasions. Knowing that Stone was convinced her wedding dress would include one, incorporating bows into the design became a natural and sentimental finishing touch that honored both her personality and their shared story. Elizabeth completed her bridal look with a pair of elegant Dior shoes, chosen during a special shopping trip with her mother at the Dior boutique in Dallas. Sharing that meaningful experience—and selecting shoes they would both wear on such an important day—made the moment all the more memorable. Completing the ensemble was the treasured Favrot Heirloom Veil, a family heirloom that has been worn by 48 brides over the past century. As the 49th bride to wear the veil, Elizabeth was deeply honored to continue a family tradition rich with history, love, and generations of cherished memories.

Groomsman Attire
Stone wore a custom tuxedo by Mobley & Sons, thoughtfully designed with meaningful details that reflected both his personality and the couple's story. Selecting the tuxedo alongside his family made the experience especially memorable, and in a nod to their Masters Weekend wedding, the jacket featured a custom golf-themed lining—a fitting tribute to Stone's love of the game. The tuxedo was filled with sentimental touches, including working sleeve cuffs with a final button embroidered in silver to match the detailing on Elizabeth's father's tuxedo, creating a subtle connection between the two. Inside the jacket, the couple's initials and wedding date were embroidered alongside a small piece of fabric from Elizabeth's wedding gown, making the garment a timeless keepsake as well as a perfectly tailored wedding-day look.

The rehearsal dinner envelope liner carried its own sentimental story, showcasing magnolias inspired by the tree in the front yard of Elizabeth's childhood home.
