A Green and White Sailcloth Tent Wedding with a Suspended Hydrangea Installation

Food & Drink

We wanted every guest to feel appreciated from the moment they arrived. Every part of the evening, from the cocktails to dinner beneath the sailcloth tent, was designed to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where friends and family could gather, celebrate, and truly enjoy being together.

Florals & Decor

Because our family home already provided such a beautiful setting, we wanted the florals to enhance the landscape rather than compete with it. Green and white blooms with touches of blush highlighted the property while creating an elegant backdrop throughout the celebration. One of my favorite design moments was the suspended hydrangea and origami bird installation above the dance floor, which carried our bird motif into the reception in a way that felt both unexpected and meaningful. We continued that story throughout the celebration with custom wallpapered bars, bird-inspired escort cards, and thoughtful paper goods that tied every detail together.

Wedding Cake

Our cake was designed to feel like an extension of the overall celebration rather than a standalone display. Surrounded by greenery and positioned beneath the suspended hydrangea and origami bird installation inside the sailcloth tent, it became part of the reception design and one of our favorite moments before everyone gathered on the dance floor.

Special Detail #1

One of the most meaningful details was displaying the wedding gowns worn by my mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law inside the foyer of our family home. It was a beautiful way to honor the generations of love that came before us, and guests experienced the display just before I walked down the aisle with my father.

Special Detail #2

It rained throughout much of the morning, and because of that our family, friends, and vendor team worked through the night and into the wedding day to finish building the ceremony aisle. Thankfully, the rain cleared just before guests arrived, making the ceremony feel even more meaningful. Looking back, the rain became one of my favorite memories because it reminded us how many people came together to make the day possible.

Special Detail #3

From the very beginning, we wanted our invitation suite to introduce guests to our family home and the celebration to come. Custom watercolor illustrations of the property appeared throughout the paper goods and carried into the wedding day with wallpapered bars, bird-inspired escort cards, and thoughtful printed details that tied every part of the guest experience together.
