The Planning

Design / Vibe / Vision

From the bride: "Our goal was to complement the natural beauty of Blue Hill Stone Barns, especially in the summer months. We chose a modern, textural floral style with clean, balanced compositions, which the Heart and Soil Flowers team brought to life beautifully. The palette stayed within the green family to create a lush, organic feel.

Proposal Story

From the bride: "Nick proposed during a trip to Tel Aviv to visit Rachel’s grandmother, who had recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Knowing how meaningful it was to spend time with her, he wanted to include her in the moment. He proposed in the courtyard of the Norman Hotel."

The Fashion

Wedding Gown

Rachel wore a lace gown by Monique Lhuillier, leaning into the summer florals with Manolo Blahnik floral heels. She later changed into a floral appliqué second look by Oscar de la Renta.

Groomsman Attire

Nick wore a custom English morning suit in honor of his late father who also wore one at his wedding.

The Details

Food & Drink

From the bride: "Chef Dan Barber did his magic! Fan favorites included the raw fennel during the cocktail hour and the tomato appetizer during dinner."

Wedding Cake

We are unsure of the bakery vendor and are waiting for more details from our bride and groom.

Special Detail #1

Rachel’s mom made party favors including custom match boxes.

Special Detail #2

The installation for the place cards was brilliantly designed by Bat Flower Press and all of her stationary (including invitations) were made with recycled paper from Stone Barns.

Special Detail #3

Rachel’s childhood home is just around the corner from Blue Hill, which allowed her to get ready with friends and family in the house she grew up in. Having her mom zip her dress in her childhood bedroom and the first look with her bridesmaids in the backyard added more magic to the day.
