The Planning
Design / Vibe / Vision
For the ceremony, the beach created the most breathtaking backdrop as we said, “I do”. The goal was never to create a wedding that felt overly styled, but rather one that felt clean, romantic, editorial, and incredibly intentional. Every detail was designed to complement the setting instead of competing with it, a modern coastal celebration that felt luxurious, but still soft, warm, and inviting. We wanted the design to feel elevated without ever feeling overdone, letting the ocean, the palms, and the natural surroundings remain part of the experience. But what made the day truly unforgettable was something much simpler: having all our favorite people together in one place. Looking around the room that night—seeing the people who have shaped our lives laughing, dancing, and celebrating with us—Casey and I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It was more than a wedding day; it was the beginning of our forever, celebrated with the people we love the most in this world.
The Fashion
Wedding Gown
I wore my dream gown by Berta, paired with a customized Berta veil that Casey gave me as my wedding present. It was such a thoughtful and meaningful gift, and wearing it felt like carrying a piece of his love with me as I walked down the aisle.
Groomsman Attire
Casey looked timeless in a white tuxedo jacket, and together we stood before the ocean ready to begin our forever.
The Details
Food & Drink
The wedding at Nobu Los Cabos was complemented by an incredible dining experience, from beautifully presented dishes to expertly crafted cocktails. The food and drinks brought together Nobu’s signature flavors with the relaxed, elevated atmosphere of Los Cabos, making every moment of the celebration feel just as memorable as it looked.
Florals & Decor
As the sun set, the celebration continued with dinner and dancing beneath a canopy of thousands of lights creating a magical “starry night” atmosphere. The reception felt like a romantic dream—lush arrangements of all-white flowers, candlelight flickering across the tables, and crystal-draped chandeliers suspended above us. With the ocean beside us and music filling the air, the entire evening felt both elegant and deeply intimate.
Wedding Cake
The wedding cake at Nobu Los Cabos was a four-tiered, all-white design featuring delicate beaded detailing and a cascading arrangement of white sugar roses. Set on a natural wooden cake stand, it blended timeless elegance with the effortless coastal feel of the venue.
Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs
One of the most meaningful parts of the ceremony was that Casey’s mom officiated our wedding, making the moment feel even more personal and filled with love. Before the ceremony, we shared private vows together—just the two of us. It was one of the most emotional moments of the day. In that quiet space, we were able to fully take in the meaning of the moment and the life we were about to begin together. Special Detail #1
The morning was filled with quiet, meaningful moments. I got ready surrounded by my bridesmaids, my mom, my grandmother, and my mother-in-law, overlooking the ocean as the day began to unfold. In a moment that felt almost magical, I spotted a whale breaching in the distance while we were getting ready—a memory that felt like a beautiful gift from the sea. That morning, I also shared small gifts with some of the most important people in our lives—my mom, dad, grandfather, grandmother, and Casey’s parents. Inside each box was a handwritten note expressing how much they mean to me and our relationship, along with a personalized handkerchief embroidered with a special message and our wedding date. In the note to my grandmother, I shared that I had used diamonds from a ring she gave me to create my wedding band. It means so much to me that I will carry a piece of her love with me always.
